na wenn das das einzige wäre das der amp nicht läuft wäre ich auch nicht ganz so geknickt. er hat auch einigen schlampige verarbeitungsmängel am gehäuse. der einfach halber ist hier die mail die ich mal direkt am matamp.uk geschrieben habe um meinem frust luft zu machen. dennoch werde ich denen ein zweite chance geben und matamp nicht gleich abschreiben:

after a friend of mine bought a matamp this year i was becoming quickly interested in matamp products. I was looking for a small tube amp and after hearing some good things about the minimat i ordered one from thomas the german distributer this september.

Well, finally after waiting about three month for te baby it found the way to my home just the other day. It´s hard for me to describe how disappointed i am: the amp just doesn´t work.....it works in some way: the control lamp is on and the tubes are working but there is absolutely no sound from any outputs. Tried everything and couldn´believe it for hours. Was changing guitar, cables carry the amp to a friends home to check it out with his equipment....no sound.

I think as music kind of people you can imagine how pissed i am about the fact not to play a single tone in my xmas hollidays!

Even more there are e few things with this amp that sucked: the mounting hardware of the top handles are really chead and ugly. It´s just a smash in the face. Any crappy, fucked up, cheap china bullshit amp has more quality parts in this place.
Doesnt look like „custom made“ but „home made“. Sorry to say that, but the story goes on: one of the black shims under the in- and output sockets is broken (the one for the16 ohm output) and after getting sensitized in the quality of the amp i mentioned out that the front plate with the matamp logo doesn´t fit propperly. It bends to the outside in the upper area.
Just another little thing is that the four rubber feeds are to short to position the amp
Over fender or marshall style handles. I know, matamps cabinets have the handles on each side, but i think there are a lot of people trying to position your amps on cabinets from other brands. Would be nice detail if this would be possible without
Changing the feets io longer ones.

Sorry for the maybe harsh words but i was expecting a working and propperly
Assambled amp for my money. I like the idea of supporting smaller companies
Like yours and don´t get fooled by the marketing hype of some major brands but
The quality i finaly got isn´t acceptable.

I will sending the amp back to thomas to kiel (i already informed him, but he seems to
Take e few days of) who was served my very well by know, and hope to get a working Amp as soon as possible.
