Re: (Aussenjam 6) My jam on #6

hi scott!

respect!

great ideas, great tone, i like the way you integrate outside-playing in your tunes.

i´m not too bad in playing inside, but i have really no idea what you are doing sometimes :-)

i think i have to transcribe some of your licks to learn from you (...right, learn from lerner, very old joke i suppose...)

Re: (Aussenjam 6) My jam on #6

Thanks Martin! I only had several minutes to record this. I just turned on the computer and did 1 take. No preparation... I think the tone I had is a bit thin. More time would let me do a few more takes with different mic placement. Sometimes I wish I should spend more time and make a "song" instead of just improvisation....

I do have some lesson material for you here...

Thanks again for the comments and your beautiful take on this!

What a great Player you are - especially the "Rocky" Sound of your Guitar in combination with the jazz hamrmonisation sounds very interessting (take it as a comnpliment!) to me. As I'm doing my lessons on jazz right about the last two years (and will do them the next few years), it are allways a joyfull moments for me listening to guitarists, who have forepassed the "Begginer Level" I'm sticking in till now.

I do have some lesson material for you here...

Interessting work - My Guitar Teacher gave me similar sheets with Chords and optional scales. In four or five years, I can perhaps think about getting the more "weird" material into my playing. For the Moment - I'm just practising my "inside" Playing. As my teacher always says: No one can play outside, if he cand't play perfectly inside. After listening to your recordings, i astate you can do both on a master Level.

Greetings,
Markus
