Very late to the dance here and very much out of my league. But it was fun to try and come up with something that worked. I think I threw in some of the Ohm Frommage filters on one track... and leaned heavily on a hollow "half-cocked wah" sound.

Thanks Andi. Sorry about the Di Meola crack -- sadly, I only have vague memories of his early days as a player (lost in the vinyl).

Frohmage is a bizzare but interesting little freeware plug-in made by Ohm Force. Very fun, but I don't actually understand what it's doing. ;-)

this backing will never be one of my favourites ;-)
Your take pushed the backing in a fine fusion/jazzy direction and the wah work added the right ammount of spice on it.
