Celtic Dreams Backing Track By Don Curtotti
Hi everyone at this great forum, :)
This is my first post here.
Sorry about the English text, I only speak English and Italian.
Thanks Jochen and Clayville (from the Les Paul Forum) for allowing me to post this backing. I created this in the Band In a Box program by pgmusic.com a few weeks ago and then exported the created midi file to Cubase where I used the midi file to run virtual instruments in Steinberg's Halion 2 program. Then mastered in Cubase.
I really appreciate Clay Harper's help with registering for this forum. He is a great guy!
Cheers and regards
Don Curtotti

The folks at the Les Paul Forum had about a ten day head start on the rest of you. I used the time to add a layer of acoustic to my original take.
The lead is a Nashville Tele into a Womanizer. I doubled the track and ran one copy through PSP's 84 delay. The acoustic is my Gibson J-100 double-miced and with a lot of reverb, some compression and e.q. added in ProTools.
This is still a fun jam, Don! Glad you were able to follow my instructions. Now hold onto your hat, because there are some very spectacular players here at the Aussensaiter!

Hi Andi
Great to be here, yes I too love this backing, i'm not bragging here, but the chord progression and instrumentation seemed to come together easily, as if it was "meant to be". I have listened to your take. Your playing is great, true virtuoso and faultlessley true to the background music.
