Hi guys!
I'm a little late, and a little early on this one.Bill offered this jam to the Les Paul Forum back in February 2005, and I really liked it then. All your takes sound wonderful here. So... I tried again, this time with a J-100 Extra, a CS-356 and a little synth.
Clay\'s new take at Soundclick
And just for fun, a darker take with some good parts from 2005
The old take at Soundclick
Cheers,
Clay

Hi Clay,
we had the 15th aussensaitersession last weekend so now almost all posts are about the session. :-)
I just listened to your takes, they are both wonderful.
The first one is like a warm summer breeze. The jumbo sounds so nice, the 356 is woody sounding like always and the strings are a perfect addition. I really love the combination of the now 3 guitars.
The second take, the old one, really is darker, not only for the tones, but also the overall feeling is "darker". But it's very nice too. Again great layering, but this is one of your trademarks. Your 356 is a fantastic sounding guitar and also shines with these tones.
Great playing on both takes Clay.
cheers
