Hi Guys,
Thought you all should know that you can get free downloads of Ted
Greene stuff at the TedGreene.com website.
Right now the stuff is being hosted by various persons, but the links
to them are in the Forums section.

Currently there is one CD of an informal spontaneous improvisational
recording that Ted did one day during one of his "practice"
sessions. This was a rare time when he had a recorder plugged into
the back of his amp.

There is also a DVD of Ted playing at the Seashell Restaurant at the
same thread in the Forums. Close-up shots of Ted's hands.

Here's another link for other DVD seminars by Ted. However, I don't
know if you can download these because they're hosted on
YouTube.com.

You can also download a ton of private lessons by Ted, recorded by a
student, Mark Levy. Again, there is a link in the Forums section

These are in the .m4a format, which is a lossless compressed file.
You can convert them to .wav or whatever you wish. These are really
great lessons with invaluable info. I've got over 20 CD's burned of
these -- a must for every serious guitarist.

Keep you antenna set on this site, for more CD's and DVD's will come
later.

Hi,

Ted Greene war einer der Gitarristen die mich wirklich weitergebracht haben. Seine Bücher "Chord Chemistry" & "Chord Progressions" habe ich verschlungen und viel draus gelernt. Auch heute nehme ich die von Zeit zu Zeit raus und lerne wieder ein bisschen mehr....

Ich hatte ihn noch nie live gesehen, aber ich hatte ihn mir auch so vorgestellt - als einen eigentlich sehr schüchternen Menschen der an der Gitarre wirklich ein Genie war.

Schade dass er so früh gestorben ist.
