What a beautiful guitar. They were made in the early 80's, just for a couple of years, then Takamine discontinued them. ( Hair Bands fell out of fashion. ) Your serial number should include the year it was manufactured. Mine was made in '83. It has a sound bewteen a SG and a Les Paul. It overdrives and distorts easily and sounds great through Fender and Marshall amps.
